There is also an information booth, with extremely long waiting lines. Rock Bottom also has a major bus station, although the bus is extremely hard to catch. The entry area of Rock Bottom contains a "Kandy" machine, the road that leads back to Bikini Bottom and restrooms, although foreigners cannot tell which is the men's room and which the women's due to the weird symbols used to mark them, and are unable to determine the genders of the inhabitants. Rock Bottom made a second appearance in the " SpongeBob SquarePants 4-D" theme park 4-D ride. They do speak English, except they blow a raspberry? in between every one to four syllables, or at the start or end of a sentence. The residents of Rock Bottom are bioluminescent and appear strange and monstrous, being based on real-life creatures found in the deepest areas of the ocean. The soil is a green living sludge that can talk. Signs are written in a language based on English except with the letters distorted, inverted, or in a different orientation. Sunlight doesn't reach this part of the water so everything is always pitching black except for a few street lights. The road between the two towns is so perfectly vertical, that it can only be accessed by a bus. Rock Bottom? is a town in a deep sea trench located beneath?
